That’s my story & I’m sticking to it! I’ve been pretty good for most of the year, after my birthday in January I mainly bought small bits of make-up or the essentials to keep my skin ticking over. I can’t do without my skincare so getting new make-up didn’t seem as important, it wasn’t like I’d run out of anything! However for a few months I saved up to have one big crazy spend which I’m now hauling for you. Continue reading “A Huge Haul – A Bit Of Everything!”
Over the past few years I’ve blogged away I don’t know why I didn’t do a giveaway sooner. I forgot not just my first Blogiversary but recently hit my second, it’s a bit of a shock to me because I’ve always started things but never quite kept doing them like I have with blogging. I think it’s really changed who I am by giving me space to simply be me. I’ve found new blogs, learnt things about myself & evolved by simply being able to apply make-up without looking like a clown. One of the biggest things I’ve learnt is how to apply lipstick without spending 20 minutes trying to fix the mess I’d made. So here it is my little giveaway to say thank-you to a wonderful community of bloggers & blog readers!
Yep, another foundation review for you! If you don’t know from earlier posts I’m on a mission for the perfect base. I’ve tried Clinique’s Beyond Perfecting, BareMinerals Bare Skin & Macs Mineralize Moisture foundations, the last has been the best for my pale dry skin up to now. However now I’, giving Bobbi Brown’s Moisture Rich foundation a go.
As a fan of matte lipsticks I know it’s all about the formula, get that right you’re onto a winner. When I saw the Bobbi Brown Art Stick I knew that if that formula was the same it could be even better.
When I enter any shop that sells make-up I always leave with foundation on the back of my hand. Expensive or not whatever budget I’m on I like to test them & compare shades. I like to research them on Youtube to see what people think & make sure to listen for their skin type too. It’s a bit of a mine field when it comes to foundation so these are my tips & tricks to getting the right product without hopefully wasting money.
