6 Things I’m Currently Loving in March

Affiliate links used help me to keep my blog running at no cost to my reader.

It’s taken me a long time to get back into writings about my favourites. I think it’s easy to get caught up in the swirl of all the new things we can buy. I’m trying to be more careful of this so I can really see what I reach for most often. I’m going to include what I’m enjoying outside of beauty & blogging too.

Mrach Currently loving

My Shopping Bag

I have to start my favourites with the item I’ve had the longest & that’s my Gorjuss shopping bag my mum got me for Christmas. I’ve always loved the Santoro brand & the Gorjuss line is so beautiful & a little dark like me! This has been so useful, it fold up easily into my little bag & saves me from bringing more plastic bags home. Also if I need to carry more things they have something nice to go in and the handles aren’t skinny ones so it doesn’t hurt if I’m lugging anything with me all day.

Staying Blonde

You never realise how much hard work it is to keep your blonde from those evil brassy tones! Even when I was all sorts of bright shades I think it was easier to let colours fade instead this is constant upkeep. I bought this Lee Stafford Bleach Blonde Shampoo after Miss Budget Beauty mentioned it often over on her Youtube channel. Your supposed to leave this on for a minute or two but I apply a generous amount & leave it as long as I can manage while in the bath, usually 5-10 mins before I’m bored. After a few weeks you don’t notice it working until you stop using it & your hair goes yellow! I also find my hair doesn’t dry out or feel stripped after using it.

For Super Dry Skin

For a long time I was hooked on Aveeno body lotion as it helps keep my psoriasis quite smooth. However I went body lotion crazy over February & March trying at least 5 different ones out. I found that the E45 Intense Recovery Body Lotion was my favourite. This sinks in pretty quickly & over a day at work left my skin still soft by the end of the day. This is a good one to try if you have psoriasis like me because I find if my skins dry then I itch more, this helped me forget about it long enough to not scratch!

Mac Studio Fix Powder – nw15

I swear I’ve talked about this one to death & so I’ll talk about it a little more. I love this powder foundation as it’s versatile enough to apply lightly to boost other foundations. It can hold back sweat longer than most powders I’ve tried & can even give me good skin without effort. I actually purchased a different shade this time as I clearly haven’t been using enough SPF! Bad Jessica! If you can recommend one please do comment!

Lulu Guinness Glasses

Yes eye sight can be a favourite! Especially when my glasses actually make me look more stylish & give me a slightly less round face. The world was fuzzy for a long time & I hadn’t even noticed until I got my eyes checked last month. I did a full post on the experience with glasses so take a gander if you’re worried by it like I was. Now I can see what I’ve been missing I never want to go back to that.

Last But Not Least – Daredevil Season 2

dare devil season 2

When you binge on Netflix it really can take hold of your spare time. So as to not waste any I think I managed to get through this season in about 4 days. You may it’s a tad extreme but I really love how they’ve built the story in Hell’s Kitchen. The best season can make you love characters, hate them & then love them again. This season brings in his old flame & really set the world on fire when they brought in a new bad guy & if you know Dare Devil a much older evil! If you aint started watch Season 1 then head to Jessica Jones cause she’s in Hell’s Kitchen too then back to Dare Devil Season 2!

That’s your week sorted!
