Gosh Smokey Eyes Palette 02 Brown
Recently my make up has been about discovering makeup that I have forgotten about. Sometimes I loose them or I just don’t get on with them when I first buy them and they get put away. When I picked this up again and tried to remember why it had been pushed aside I decided it was time to give it another chance. I bought this last November so it’s really over due it’s review.
Smokey Brown Eyes – The Gosh Concept
The idea of this palette is to simplify being able to recreate a specif look where every shade you need is in this one palette. This compact design is both great for travel and fit for purpose. I’d say it’s only missing a brush but you know you’d only get a daft sponge applicator with it which is pointless for this look. It comes with a clear plastic sheet with a diagram showing where each eyeshadow should be used. And all numbered up and in order of use so you can’t really go wrong.
The eyeshadows are very buttery soft, this makes them blend well but also means you have to be careful not to overload the brush with too much at once. The best way to apply is with thin layers and build the shades up. You do get a little fall out but I did the eyes first then applied foundation which solved that issue. I like the effect its more a subtle smokey eyes but it still adds depth. I like that it covers all bases for you it’s all there when you can’t make your mind on what shades to use.
On the left is the eyeshadow on it’s own and the right I’ve finished the look off with foundation, eyeliner and mascara.
