The Blonde UpKeep Haul

Affiliate links used help me to keep my blog running at no cost to my reader.

When I decided to go blonde a few weeks ago I spent them researching (googling) for the products I’d need to keep my hair in a good condition. To say it took a full day of bleaching & toning which you can read here in my Red To Blonde post my hair is in pretty great condition thanks to a great hairdresser & Olaplex! However I still have ends that are a bit brassy & the general condition of my hair is dry & frizzy to begin with. So I did a little shopping over the weekend & picked up some bits to help me along the way.

Blonde Haul

Lee Stafford Bleach Blonde Shampoo 250ml £6.99

I knew as soon as I wanted to go blonde that I had to pick this up, my fave blogger/Youtuber Ms Budget beauty has been blonde for a while now & I remember how much she talked about this. It looks really dark purple in the tube but it looks scarier than it is. This should correct that brass I mentioned!

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Tone Correcting Conditioning Spray 150ml £8.99

If the shampoo alone doesn’t I bought this as a back up or at least an extra blonde booster. I love leave in conditioner sprays & I’ve not seen any others that have that added bonus of helping a blonde out too so I can’t wait to get spritzing. Ps this smells like something I’m sure I’ve had from lush (in a  good way) like a soap I’ve tried before, will have to investigate.

John Freida Miraculous Recovery Intensive Mask 150ml £5.99

I’ve been a John Freida fan for a very long time now & loved the conditioner of this range last year. However I did find I liked the Frizz Ease Forever Smooth conditioner ever better when it recently launched in the last few months. I’m still gonna be using that too but I think for added health a hair mask is the way to go. This mask is so thick it’s almost a balm texture. I pondered the obvious Sheer Blonde range but I’ve heard too many mixed things on that range that put me off it.

Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo 400ml £4.99

I buy this all the time & I try other dry shampoos but I usually end up back with the Tropical Batiste. I could have bought the Batiste Brilliant Blonde but I have very little roots & until I do need it it’s more cost-effective to go with this as the Blonde version is £3.99 for 200ml.

Boots Blonde Pony Bands (70) £2.80

I buys these normally in black but I alway need more hair bands. These snag free ones for me are affordable & don’t run out instantly. Yes they stretch but most of them do however these are such a good price.I don’t feel bad throwing them away once they’re at the too long to twist round twice but too short to twist three times stage.

La Riche Directions White Toner £4 (Thou Art Sheffield)

This is my fail safe, hopefully. As in if everything else leaves my hair as yellow as the sun I’m hoping this will be a fix. It’s a peroxide free corrector so I can leave it on as long as I can stand without doing harm to my hair. When I do it I’ll do a before & after to see how much it can actually do. Otherwise the Manic Panic Snow White is double the price so fingers crossed for Directions!

If you have any Blonde products you love please leave me a comment at the bottom of the page. I love to hear from you guys & really need some help with the blonde!
