I’m finding it hard to get life balanced lately, between working full time, wedding stuff, having a bed delivered & blogging it doesn’t leave much time to breath. I just want to let you in on a few of the random things that have been going on in my life. I’m wanting to be more organised but there just doesn’t seem to be enough hours in a week to do it all. I have things I want to share but getting it from the photo stage to here is a slow process lately.
If you didn’t already know I’m an engineer, I work on machines making parts to go into other machines. Pretty boring right! Wrong, something always happens. I swear men never grow up no it the same way we do. When you add engineer to that with an age range of 20-60 ish all hell breaks lose! I had an epic fail mid week where I managed to pour coolant ( water with oil in it) down someone else. I wished for the ground to open up & swallow me whole, did anyone else help the situation, no! They pissed themselves laughing then brought it up an every given moment possible. However the week did mean I got to work on a manual machine rather than the computer programmed one I’m usually on. It’s more tiring but you feel a lot more like you actually made something & saw it through to the end which I do like.
If I said eat & sleep that pretty much covers it with TV in-between. We watched a good film last night called The Drop, it’s got Tom Hardy looking amazing as ever & then he’s upstage by the puppy he adopts. Its a gritty film, a little slow paced but told well. Noomi Rapace (the original Girl With The Dragon Tattoo – as Lisbeth) works really well in this when they meet because of the puppy. The story is of a local bar that is used as a drop box for illegally gained money & what happens when you steel from the wrong the people. If your a fan of James Gandolfini (The Sopranos) this is the last film he did before he died in 2013. On a happier note we got a new bed, it’s an early wedding present from my parent & it’s ridiculously comfy! I’m pretty sure the first one we’ve both had where it’s been brand new we feel like adults. Having a bit of a fail with Superdrug as I’ve ordered something from Rimmel on the website. They sent the wrong shades so they offer replacements only to send the wrong ones out again, see them over on Instagram. Maybe it will get sorted Monday, fingers crossed.
Also got a few likes off my messing around with my out take photos from this post over on Instagram. Because some days you get bored when you do blog photos & start to mess around with daft faces! I can’t be the only one?
Hopefully I will catch my blogging up this weekend so I don’t have a quite week like last week. What are you getting up to this weekend?
