When I bought this I loved it dearly for what a big change it made to my skin during the colder weather as a moisture mask. However its blazing sun one moment then thunder & lightening then next. It seems to be messing with my skin worse than winter does so I’ve busted this out to help calm & rehydrated. Sampar’s So Much To Dew has quality on side which should make up for the price tag, let me know if you’ve tried Sampar out. In fairness to my readers I picked this up at T.K.Maxx so didn’t pay full price for it but my opinions are the same either way.
So Much To Dew Midnight Mask
Ingredients: Key Ingredients:
– Smart Hydrating Complex perfectly mimics the skin’s hydrolipidic film, locking water within cutaneous cells and restoring the skin’s lasting moisturisation.
– Hyaluronic Acid Capsules diffuse hydration in-depth, tonifying and replenishing the skin.
– Urban Advance Complex, a powerful alliance of 3 active ingredients (shea butter serum, mint endorphin and probiotic sugar), acts as an anti-oxidant shield, neutralising any cutaneous imbalances linked to pollution, strengthens the skin’s natural defenses and shocks the skin back to life on a cellular level.
So Much To Dew Application
Something that stood out to me when I first used this was the packaging design. It has a similar concept as the No7 Deep Pore Purifier cleanser where the head of the tube is the applicator. You twist it to unlock the product & squeezing the tube pushes it out through the brush. The bristles are the softest I’ve ever felt, it’s synthetic & possibly similar to the Real Techniques Bold Metals make-up brushes. It helps to apply the mask in a thin even layer without fuss. Once your finished just twist the head back round to lock then wash it with warm water to clean it.
How I Use It
I maybe only do this once every few weeks, usually on a Thursday ready for the weekend. With the idea that the day after the likelihood is I’ll have some hair in the mask while I slept & I’ll want to wash it. If you find that your foundation settles in to line or you always get that dry patch where your makeup clings too this could be the solution. It’s a simple process where I do my normal cleansing at night, put on an eye cream then apply this mask. I find if I do this at least an hour before I go to bed most of it will sink in to my skin with a slightly tacky feel to the touch. I avoid going too far down my neck as this for some reason never dries & feels sticky. However done this way I can comfortably fall asleep with it on.
When I wake up & cleanse my skin actually feels plump & soft to the touch with a smoother texture. It seems to add back what the weather has taken from my skin. This isn’t a permanent fix but an easy to way to build the hydration back up into my skin. What better way to give your skin a boost than when your sleeping.
