As women who love our war paint and even more so bloggers too we accumulate more makeup that is possible to use up. I believe that even with new releases and quick buys when the hype is hot things get left behind. Sometimes we just have one or ten too many lipsticks or eye shadow shades to ever make that dent or the more elusive “I’ve hit pan”. Is it because we bought it and forgot about it or in the desperate 10 minute rush to apply our make up we always go back to what we know works for us.
The Make A Dent Tag
For some of us this may be easier than others depending on the vastness between just what I need or our hoarding secrets. A few questions to begin with then for each category the most used or dented or each item you own. That can include i.e a foundation that has been recently or multiple times been repurchased.

The Make A Dent List
Primer or Moisturiser – Benefit Porefessional – I’ve gone through a few deluxe mini versions of this and last year ought the full size and I just won’t be without it. I’m search for a foundation to suit this not the other way round. The perfect pore smoothing and hiding base.
Foundation – My most used has to be the Max Factor Facefinity as since I started in makeup this has been purchased at least twice. It gives a nice light coverage for every day easy make up. Wish they would get rid of the sponge and make it more compact though.
Concealer – Collection Lasting Perfection has been used tonnes of times and the one I have needs replacing, will probably get shade 1 and 2 to cover for when it gets sunnier. Easy to use and nicely creamy and affordable.
Blusher – Clinique All Over Face Colour Powder in Poppy Plum is easily my most used blusher ever. I have hardly dented it but it’s super pigmented
Bronzer / Highlighter – I don’t own either of these which when I get round to everyone elses posts I can add them to this months wish list as I really want to try some out and be more adventurous.
Lip Product – Mua Matte Lipstick in Wild Berry is a perfect tint of colour, purse friend and lip friendly too. It’s matte but in a very balmy formula so no drying out on ya. Gets used all the time as I can reapply it and cheap to replace at just a £1.
Eyeshadow – Mua Undress Me Too Palette – Great all round neutrals with a hefty amount of bronze shades. Reasonably good pigment and another bargain 12 shades for £4 this has been abused and then some. I usually apply with just my finger for a wash of colour.
Eyeshadow – Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze – An easy to use cream shadow when I’m in a rush I can swipe this on and I do all the time. I good bronze shade that last all day long and my favourite shade of them all.
Eyeliner – Maybelline Eye Studio Gel in Black. I nice texture and a very solid black . I use this when I can’t be bother to be careful by cheat lining my lashes.
Mascara – 2true Wow Volumising Mascara, I’ve been using this for the last month and it’s the only one that will be use. It’s very black and rarely clumps and doesn’t drop much. I would have put the Maybelline Great Lash in Blackest Black but I haven’t gotten a replaced it yet. I’ve gone through at least 4 of these.
