Lip Balm Madness – How Many Does One Girl Need?

Lip balm madness is the only way I can describe the daft number of lip balms I have right now. I’m pretty sure nobody needs this many in one go so here’s my run down of which ones are worth grabbing or should be left in the store.

Lip Balm Madness – The One Where A Brand Got Involved

It’s that moment where you see a lip balm that’s going to smell like a favourite taste, strange but I fall for this every time. I have to avoid them in Top Shop & Primark as they always have loads of them.

Lip Balm Madness - Branded

Pillsbury Peanut Butter Cup – This smells and tastes amazing on the lips , it’s an exact match. Even though it’s peanut butter cup coloured that doesn’t show on the lips thankfully. This is actually a good lip balm I use quite alot before I start applying makeup so by the time I get to lip colours my lips aren’t cracked or dry.

Pepsi Wild Cherry – This was completly gimmick ridden it’s in the shape of a can, who knew that would make it a pain to even use. Also we don’t get that flavour here so who knows if it smells like it should? Not a bad lip balm but still a stupid buy.

Jelly Belly Watermelon – It’s all about the Jelly Belly and that I love the watermelon beans. After the smell it’s pretty pointless as a lip balm sadly.

Lip Balm Madness – The Ones With Some Colour

I am loving sheer summer shades, now I’m tongue tied. But they work well for effortless colour that won’t leave you lips wrecked and easily applied even without a mirror.

Nyc Applicious Glossy Balm in Red Apple – Love this balm it’s super cute packaging with apple run through the balm suits me to a tee. It’s glossy but has lots of colour which runs on the pink side of red. Very budget friendly at just £2.49 for a pop of colour all day long.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch – Bought around the crazy time this was all hyped up, shouldn’t have bothered. It’s a little like nude lips but washed out in this super baby pink that isn’t for me.

The Body Shop in Plum – I really like this one it has only a hint of a shade but the plum scent is just beautiful. Really nice formula and keeps my lips moisturized.

Carmex Moisture Plus in Berry – I love the very slimline packaging which is unusual for a balm , would sit quite flat in a wallet or bag. Has more of a red shade that a berry tone but lots of colour to this, slightly more red than the Nyc one. Not sure on the scent/taste it’s quite strong I think vanilla and something else, I’d imagin it could be a love hate thing over it.

What are you’re favourite lip balms, I could do with few more… right?
