This is me falling for a product I really wanted to hate purely & simply because repurchasing it will put a hole in my purse to do so. In what world I could ever afford to be buying Emma Hardie is anyone’s guess so I’ll play the blame game. T.K.Maxx you’ve give me lots of choice & well discounted purchases in the past but your making my life hard & making me want something I can’t afford. I bought the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Super Rich Body Butter at clearance price of just £7 & I’ve been using it everyday since I got it.
Emma Hardie Amazing Face? Super Rich Body Butter
When it comes to body butters I’m a bit of an anything goes most of the time. I love The Body Shop body butters because they smell amazing while doing a good job of keeping my skin hydrated. I also has a soft spot for Soap & Glory the Sugar Crush range has grown on me since I got a set at Christmas it’s zesty & is a nice morning pick me up. However both brands were quickly shunned even though I don’t particularly love the scent. The thing is I have Psoriasis as I always put it dry flaky skin. If you’ve seen the most recent episode to Game Of Thrones it looks similar to greyscale without the grey shade but all the itchy fun of it. It’s not pretty but I’ve lived with it long enough to just accept it’s there. So my entire life involves me moisturising multiple times a day depending on how much I can be bothered to do it.
The thing is you use maybe half as much as you would a regular body butter. It’s super thick but spreads out before it sinks in & then keeps my skin hydrated for the rest of the day. It helps to stop me itch my skin & smooths the affected areas of my skin more than anything else I’ve used before. What I will say is unless you have a form of dermatitis or have really dry skin normally then you probably don’t need something so rich & expensive. There’s nothing wrong with the ones I’ve mentioned above they just aren’t always quite enough. I already have picked up a second tube of this from T.K.Maxx because it’s so good. I’m still in two minds as to whether I’ll repurchase it after that point as it’s £29 on the Emma Hardie site. I’m hoping that Marks & Spencer’s will stock more items in the brand as they are always doing offers making it a bit more affordable.
Do you have any skin issues like Psoriasis? Or have a body butter that’s as amazing for less I’d love to know!
