This isn’t my first bath melt from Lush & it won’t be my last. Although when I first bought this one many moons ago it was a little rectangle with the word Mango raised in letter on the front. It was simple with a pale orange colour that didn’t look much but did everything I wanted. Now Lush have recreated the You’ve been Mangoed bath melt but does it stand up to how I remember it? A firm favourite of mine is spending way too long in the bath. I love having some me time applying a face mask, lots of bubbles & simply forgetting the world for just a few moment. It’s as close to meditating as I ever get because my brain can’t quite manage that level of zen. One of the things that’s a part of this little routine is The Comforter bubble bar from Lush since their original shop first appeared in Sheffield.

In the past Soap & Glory was my go to for body products as I’d always get a set for Christmas, the quality was always there but I was put off a few years back. I had used the Righteous range for so long that I got sick of the scent which could be a shock to most but it became too sweet for me. So when I got a set again from my mum at Christmas it made a lovely change to try them out & see if it would draw me back in.
After all these years of shaving I still don’t get it right. I have at least one excuse, my Psoriasis (think flaky dry skin that appears fast that anyone could exfoliate), shave over that & it always cut me. Then that I’m lazy & do it in the bath irrelevant of the above skin issue almost every time I shave I cut my ankle. It doesn’t hurt but when you’re having to hold tissue on it instead of it getting on the carpet or bed sheets it’s a pain. So I’m trying epilating out to see if I can manage to have smooth legs without the hassle of shaving. I have to say that a big part of wanting one was because of Lily Pebbles & her initial Youtube video & follow up post which did help me decide to go forward with it.
This is me falling for a product I really wanted to hate purely & simply because repurchasing it will put a hole in my purse to do so. In what world I could ever afford to be buying Emma Hardie is anyone’s guess so I’ll play the blame game. T.K.Maxx you’ve give me lots of choice & well discounted purchases in the past but your making my life hard & making me want something I can’t afford. I bought the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Super Rich Body Butter at clearance price of just £7 & I’ve been using it everyday since I got it.
