Lust List – Beautiful New Things

wishlist skincare makeup
I love searching the internet for whats new out in beauty & I love to share it with you. This isn’t everything that’s out new but the things that interest m the most. The products that when I can afford them will look at buying them myself.

Why They’re On My Lust List

Bubble Tea

This post started out when I saw the Bubble Tea range in Superdrugs a set of bath fizzies, shower jelly & bath T-bags. I haven’t tried bubble tea before so to say how similar in scent they might be is hard but it’s a cute looking range. They’d be perfect for presents for friend & at affordable prices.

St Tropez

I’ve heard so much recently about the St Tropez in shower gradual tan that even me who is white as a ghost pale wants it. It’s not that I’ve suddenly wanted to be a sun worshipping goddess but that I have Psoriasis on my legs. I wondered if I could sort of hide it with a little sun kissed tan effect it’s not miracle cure but maybe just help camouflage it under tights.

Max Factor

I’ve been avoiding buying palettes as long as I can remember because I just don’t like shades going to waste. I know Makeup Revolutions are super cheap but I haven’t seen any in store that (metaphorically) speak to me. I have no Naked palettes either so for me to like the idea of these Max Factor ones is out of the norm. I think it’s because they’re colour coördinated & have a full eye look in each. I know others have them too but these just appeal to me more.

O.P.I

I’m still on a no nail varnish kick which has gone on all of 2015! However I will need some for the wedding & I’ve been eyeing up the O.P.I Coca Cola collection from last year which you can still find online. However Debenhams have new stock in on the miniatures set so I could try each shade out to be sure. I’ve collected coca cola memorabilia since I was little & it’s just carried on even up to my wedding day. I’m feeling the original coke red or cherry cola!

New At Selfridges

Something I won’t get round to trying for a while but when I saw that First Aid Beauty is stocked at Selfridges I thought you might want to know too. As far as I know they’ve only even been available online so I ‘m hoping Selfridges will have them in store too. We’ve all heard about the Facial Radiance Pads to know they’re worth getting hold of. Another interesting one is DHC a japanese beauty brands which already was in Selfridges seems to added a line of face masks. I’ve seen about the travel cotton buds pre filled with cleanser but this is definitely right up my street for a good pampering!

Makeup Eraser

Now the Makeup Eraser is one of those products I was completely & utterly the sceptic over. After watching Tati on her Youtube channel do a First Impressions I want to try it out. It looks like a regular flannel wash cloth but somehow with just water can get all your makeup off in one go. It should last up to 1000 washes so in fairness the price reflects this & if Tati likes it then how can we go wrong, also the major plus it’s available in the UK which I didn’t expect.

Bourjois

Last but not least I’m all about the drugstore at the moment because they’re really bringing it. Bourjois have a whole host of new releases but a few have caught my eye most. The Aqua Blushes look super pigments but sheer out, however over on Siobhán McDonnell’s Youtube channel she can show you how they work as they do stain. The other is the Brow Pen which is basically a felt tip but with its sheer liquid formula it looks like it fills in brows without being drawn on with a Sharpie, no Scouse brows here!

Makeup Academy (Mua)

Mua which went of most radars when Makeup Revolution have a couple of new things I’d like to try. Firstly having already tried their Matte Lipsticks & liked them I want to try the new shade Mystic Mavala. Mavala being the Pantone colour of the year this is a little late to bring something based on this but it’s still worth a go when it’s £1. Something from their Whipped line is the Whipped Velvet Lips which just on the name I want to see how it performs. A dark red shade Majestic is not exactly summery but it’s very me & at £3 I’m game.

Rimmel

Who doesn’t love at least one thing from the Kate Moss Rimmel line raise your hands! It’s done so well they’ve brought out a Nude collection consisting of nail varnish & lipsticks. The lipsticks being the thing I’m most wanting. I’m not a huge nudes kinda gal but the darkest of the shades looks like a my lips but better affair, something easy to pull a look together.

Sleek

Last but not least is the Sleek Cream To Powder Blusher which look lovely. I nice range of shades to suit everyone they seem much more easy to wear than some of the powder ones which can be too pigments & too shimmery. This is the best of both worlds something buildable with the easy movement of a cream but the setting quality of a powder.
What’s on your lust list for this summer?
